About Trang Love Festival (Underwater Wedding)
Trang is known as the 'city of love'. Around Valentine's Day the province stages the Trang Love Festival, whose highlight is the 'Wiwa na Samut': couples marry underwater at the Emerald Cave and register their marriage on Sivalai beach. Foreign and same-sex couples may also take part. There are also markets and performances. It is a romantic and original event with a local character.
